Dr. Aviram leads all the clinical research endeavours at Syqe. These days, he is working on a new study examining the kinetics of the endocannabinoid system among patients with neuropathic pain caused by chemotherapy who are using the SyqeAir Inhaler. Dr. Aviram has extensive experience in the clinical world following many years of working as a pain trustee RN in the Department of Internal Medicine C at Rambam Health Care Campus. Dr. Aviram gained experience in the field of medical cannabis research during his Ph.D. and post-doctoral fellowship in Prof. Dedi Meiri’s lab for cannabinoid and cancer research at the Technion. His expertise includes experimental and chronic pain, oncology, and sleep, and using medical cannabis to treat these disorders.
