Dr. Jesús de Santiago has been a pain treatment specialist since 2010 at Quirónsalud Hospital in Tenerife. In 2018 he obtained the European Diploma in pain management where he got the Ulf Lindblom award for the best exam. In 2019 he obtained a grant from the European Pain Federation (EFIC) thanks to which he was able to do a fellowship at the Pain Unit and Center for Medicinal Cannabis Research and Treatment run by Dr. Brill in Tel Aviv. Since 2019 he is the coordinator of the Cannabinoids task force of the Spanish Pain Society.
